· Installation of trees and plantings on the east side of Linneman Street along the railroad tracks
· Installation of topsoil, seed, and blanket along the east side of Linneman Street.
Now that the final restoration along the east side of Linneman Street is done, the on-site work associated with Phase I and Phase II of the Dewes/Henley/Harlem project is completed.
We would like to take this opportunity once again to thank all the residents that lived within the construction area and surrounding neighborhood during this 2 year project. We understand there were some significant inconveniences that you had to deal with during construction and appreciated your patience and understanding. We are hopeful that you are satisfied with the end results of the project.
The storm water detention pond that was constructed to help alleviate storm water flooding located behind the Glenview United Methodist Church is now fully vegetated. Stop by to take a look the next time you are in the area.
Since the on-site construction is now completed, this will be the last blog post for the project. Thank you for following the postings and hopefully you found the information useful.
A survey will be sent out in the coming weeks from the Village of Glenview to give you the opportunity to comment on the construction process and overall project. Please take the time to complete this survey, the information gathered is helpful as other projects are completed throughout the Village.
