Water service replacements will continue this week along Dewes Street between Elm and Washington. New water services will be installed from the new water main to the existing b-box within the Village right-of-way. New services will not be installed all the way to your home. During water service installation, water to individual homes will be turned off while the transition is made. Typically the water is turned off for 1-hour. The contractor will knock on the door of each home prior to turning off the water. It is difficult to determine the exact timing of the water shut-off; therefore, 24-hour notice is not given. The contractor will work with you to determine the best time to shut-off the water to the greatest extent possible.

Concrete curb & gutter, driveway, and sidewalk installation will be performed next week along Henley Street (Elm Street to Spruce Street) and Elm Street (Henley Street to Dewes Street). During this process, access to driveways will be restricted for installation and to allow for proper cure time. Please have your vehicles removed from your driveways by Monday, April 27th at 7:00 AM.  You will be able to return your vehicles to your driveway on Wednesday, May 6th. If this schedule changes due to weather conditions, you will be notified.

The first layer of asphalt pavement along Henley Street (Elm Street to Spruce Street) and Elm Street (Henley Street to Dewes Street) is anticipated to be completed the week of May 4th.

We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding during the concrete installation and roadway construction. We understand the significant inconvenience these restrictions to your driveway cause your daily activities. We are committed to minimizing the inconvenience to the greatest extent possible.
